As much as Tim Sult in the 90s loved his SG's, he also used an early 90s (most likely 1991) Gibson Les Paul Studio Lite(?) in some sort of a trans or flamed amber finish. in this 1993 live performance of clutch we can see at around the 0:10 mark that Tim's using this Les Paul. so he most likely used it from the mid-early 90s to the late 90s. Ive seen some photos of Neil Fallon playing this guitar too around the late 90s. in the CD insert of clutch's 1995 self titled album it is listed as a 1991 Gibson Les Paul and its also found in the CD insert of 1998's The Elephant Riders in a photo of the group behind a bunch of musical gear. so its possible that this Les Paul was used on both of those albums.
around the 3:49 mark Tim shows off his 1962-1963 Gibson SG Junior. he said quote, >its been on absolutely no albums whatsoever. but, I did play a guitar that looks just like this on "robot hive/exodus".
Tim Sult confirmed in a Guitar World Magazine interview that this was the main electric guitar and only electric guitar he used to record Clutch's 2013 album, "Earth Rocker". he said quote >“I’ve kept my whole setup pretty simple for this album, just a [Marshall] JCM 900 and JCM 45,” (I think he means JTM45) he says. “And I really just played one guitar, my Les Paul Junior with P-90 pickups.”
