A Vinnie Vincent Charvel Strat electric guitar built with hand-chosen components by Vincent. Vincent was inspired to build the guitar after trying Eddie Van Halen’s Charvel. Van Halen explained that he had built his guitar with custom parts, which included neck, pickup and body. Vincent tried Van Halen’s guitar and liked it so much he spent the next few months customizing a similar guitar to Ed Van Halen’s. The result was this one of a kind Charvel. The guitar was used by Vincent to record KISS’ Creatures of the Night album in 1982. The guitar, which still has its original strings from the Creatures album, was used on the songs “I Love It Loud,” “Killer,” “War Machine,” “Keep Me Comin’,” and “Saint and Sinner,” among others. The neck joint plate is numbered “65520 1,” back plate absent. Accompanied by a side-loading hardshell case.

"Happy to oblige, that night I hopped in my car with my vintage 1959 sunburst Les Paul, 1965 white Strat, and 1965 Rickenbacker 12 string and drove out to the studio. When I got there Ed invited me to hang out with him and Alex at the studio that night while they jammed and just let the tape roll, capturing one hellacious performance. I stayed and hung out with them that night, which turned out to be a special and momentous night that still stays with me today.

After a short break Ed tried out my ’59 Les Paul and ‘65 Strat, and we both commented on how much better Ed's homemade Strat sounded compared to my vintage guitars. Soundwise there was no comparison..."
