Vrangsinn used a Gibson Thunderbird for some time, as evidenced in a post on his public Facebook account where he stated buying an Orange O-Bass with the following statement: "Since I was so damn unlucky and managed to break the neck on my Gibson Thunderbird so close to these gigs, I just had to take a chance. [...] Breaking the neck on my faithful Thunderbird really broke my heart. But I have to move on and I am hoping this is the beginning of another love affair."
