Really good bass
First of, I´m a guitar player that also play bass in a Hardcore band, so maybe my opinion of bass´s is´that legit...
But I really like playing on this bass, it´s that extremely expensive, but got all the features you want in a good bass

A Gibson from the good periode
I tried alot of Gibson guitars over the years and this old Flying V from 93 has the rock 'n' roll feeling that I was looking and hoping for in Gibson. It´s an standard reissue 67 Flying V but with Rio Grande Texas BBQ pickups.
The new stuff after 1995, just don´t have the same feeling and quality, I have owned newer LP´s, Flying V´s and Explorer

Love that sound !
The last couple of years I played alot of high gain amps (still have my EVH 5150 III), but when I tried the Orange Rockerverb I got hooked !
Thees Amps really does it all ! For me they have the mix of the really good old Marshall Amps, just with a little more gain.
Now I just use my Orange RV 50W for Metal, Stoner and rock, but buy the 50W and not the 100W ! You can really push those tubes with the 50W and get the greate tone

Good match with other Orange Amp´s
I use it together with an Orange Tiny Terror and works really well

Extreamly weel made SRV guitar !
This handmade SRV model from Japan is just as good as the Custom models from Fender´s US shop - Two piece Alder body - Maple neck. Rosewood fingerboard - Alnico pickups - Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas style reverse bridge !

This new pedal really gave my sound the kick !
Thees pedals with toneprint are for me the best, Rich possibility for creating the sound that fits you.

Really nice guitar, bought it for the color ;-)
It´s good quality for a Mex, thought about changing the neck for bariton...

that's pretty sexy looking... I kinda want to buy one and put 50s or 60s RI neck on it after seeing this picture
215
Yes, the neck is actually really bad with ALOT of lack ! To much for my taste... but yes if you change the neck you will have a very sexy looking guitar ;-)
Thought about buying a bariton neck with reverse head from Warmoth

Really good guitar boost !
I have the old original TS808, but it´s quite strange that many calls it "The First Real Tube Screamer" because Maxon did the first one (Maxon OD808) that was the pedal that Ibanez copied...
41016
actually you are only sort of right... the original 70s 808 was made by maxon on contract for Ibanez, after Ibanez started manufacturing their pedal lines in-house in the 90s Maxon started remarketing their (usually) superior versions of the x0x and 9 series under their own brand name. In the 70s Maxon also made pickups for all the major Japanese guitar maufacturers including Ibanez. There'd even more to the story than that if you are interested. My 70s Greco guitar is the basis for Ibanez's Artist solid bodies of the 80s, but mine has a legit lacquer finish and is all hand-made with top of the line maxon PAF-style pickups and American electronics. The pickups alone are worth what I paid for the guitar if I advertised them on the mylespaul forum. Anyway, 70s and 80s japan was a crazy place for all things guitar. Amazing, confusing and full of lawsuits, strange collaborations and companies being bought and sold left and right by rich Japanese guitar enthusiasts and weird conglomerates!

Hi jimmarchi1, that actually a very interesting background story about the Maxon and didn't know that Maxon made the PAF-style pickups. Have read alot of stories about Greco and Ibanez, I also have an Bacchus SRV, those handmade one from Japan and as I understood, the same place the make Ibanez. I wish there were a book about all these stories, mixup and lawsuits ;-)

she's basically a tweaked up blue fuzz face like Hendrix used at Woodstock, can't go wrong

But don´t buy the new model !
