First of, I´m a guitar player that also play bass in a Hardcore band, so maybe my opinion of bass´s is´that legit...
But I really like playing on this bass, it´s that extremely expensive, but got all the features you want in a good bass
I tried alot of Gibson guitars over the years and this old Flying V from 93 has the rock 'n' roll feeling that I was looking and hoping for in Gibson. It´s an standard reissue 67 Flying V but with Rio Grande Texas BBQ pickups.
The new stuff after 1995, just don´t have the same feeling and quality, I have owned newer LP´s, Flying V´s and Explorer
The last couple of years I played alot of high gain amps (still have my EVH 5150 III), but when I tried the Orange Rockerverb I got hooked !
Thees Amps really does it all !
For me they have the mix of the really good old Marshall Amps, just with a little more gain.
Now I just use my Orange RV 50W for Metal, Stoner and rock, but buy the 50W and not the 100W ! You can really push those tubes with the 50W and get the greate tone
I use it together with an Orange Tiny Terror and works really well
Really nice little living-room Amp and still having the tube sound
This handmade SRV model from Japan is just as good as the Custom models from Fender´s US shop
- Two piece Alder body
- Maple neck. Rosewood fingerboard
- Alnico pickups
- Stevie Ray Vaughan Texas style reverse bridge !
Thees pedals with toneprint are for me the best, Rich possibility for creating the sound that fits you.

Opgraded it with DiMarzio DP117 in bridge and DiMarzio DP 405 in neck and Sperzel locking tuners
Custom made Vintage olympic white relic. Nitrocellulose.
Alderbody. ca 3,2kg. Mapleneck C-shape. 9,5",
Double ceramic PU. ( Jeff Beck ). CTS pots.
Vintage tremolo / fullsize block.
It´s good quality for a Mex, thought about changing the neck for bariton...
Never thought i would get a Fender, but this guitar really rocks !
And the the pickups even does metal and stoner/sludge really well ;-)
I have the old original TS808, but it´s quite strange that many calls it "The First Real Tube Screamer" because Maxon did the first one (Maxon OD808) that was the pedal that Ibanez copied...
But don´t buy the new model !
The old model is way better quality
