Proud half assed guitarist, born and raised in Canada's frosty armpit. Picked the guitar back up recently after a near two year break. Formerly of Crimson Skies (half assed guitarist, half assed band)

I really didn't know anything about Aria as a company when I came across this beauty on Facebook. She has an Act 3 tremolo system (licensed Floyd Rose). Programmatic v humbuckers and, a wicked paint job. The high frets (used to playing Ibanez) take some getting used to as far as shredding goes but, this baby is sweet. Vivian Campbell rocked one during his Dio days in the mid 1980s. Spec, info, and even a background on this guitar has been damn near impossible to find aside from it being made in Japan, in the Matsumoku factory, less than a year before it's closure (mine is a 1986). If you come across one, I strongly recommend picking it up.
Bought her a month ago, after searching for one for years. She's light, looks wicked all blacked out, has a Power Rocker tremolo system, and, (in my opinion) amazing V5 Humbuckers. They're ridiculously high output, and could only be found in the DT-250, DT-350 and, the RS440, from 1984-1985. Plus, I don't think you can ever go wrong with a vintage, Japanese made guitar (especially Ibanez) if you can find one, get it. If you love and, play 80s metal, you won't regret it. Max Cavalera had a red one back in the day. For a guitar whos life span only lasted a single year, she's (for what I do) damn near perfect.
