Awesome pedal

This thing is great. Great clean tones, great blended distorted tones in a small package. My only criticism is that the tuner just feels a little slow compared to a TC Polytune for instance.

perodefformero

Most tuners out there are slow compared to the TC plytune. :)

Great little amp for practice

I have one that I use for learning new stuff for my covers band, it’s handy and sounds great for its size. I don’t use the onboard effects really, just don’t feel the need.

Possible phase issue

I have this pedal, I barely used it as I think that the two outputs are out of phase to each other. Each channel sounds ok on its own, but try to run both together and it sounds dire. I’ve yet to experiment with it to see if phase change on one side deals with the problem. Probably best to avoid to be honest, there are better units out there for slightly more money.

its unlikely they're wired out of phase internally but the gear you're sending to might be out of phase on one side and you don't realize it.... but anything's possible. You probably want to invest ina radial ABY

I’ve since started using an EHX Switchblade +, that is working better for me.

Nice, but there’s something you should know.....

So I had this pedal after being sold on it’s ability to blend the clean & distortion sections(not many pedals could do that when this hit the market....), and the possibility of running separate effects loops for each. However, after being disappointed with the tones I was getting, I put it in a drawer for over a year. I realised that the reason I hated the tones is that the bottom end seems to disappear, the exact thing that ISN’T supposed to happen with this. I found out that this is because the distortion channel is out of phase with the clean channel. Trying an EHX LPB-1 in the distortion loop corrects the phase and the glorious bottom end returns..... any boost or drive pedal with an odd amount of op-amps should reverse the phase, so there are a few options here. I picked up a used LPB-1 on Ebay for a tenner, they’re only £40 new. Interestingly, version 2 of this pedal has a phase switch......

A must have

Fitted to all of my four string basses, I couldn’t gig without these.

Pretty good but.....

I could really do with a version that has momentary switches as well as latching for both functions.

Pure ‘70’s heaven.

Beautiful limited edition P Bass. A collectors item.

Great bass ready to be hot rodded

These things are great if you want a super P bass. It does lack bottom end compared to my Fenders, but has lots of bite and is so fast to play. Add a set of SD Quarter Pound pick ups and it’s a great instrument.

My go to bass

It’s perfect for me. Jazz neck, P bass body, P/J pickups. I changed mine out for Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders, I fitted a Hipshot Kickass bridge and a Hipshot Bass extender. All of my four string basses have those. The bass is great out of the box, but this one and I have evolved together.

The best.

I use the Hydrive because the hybrid cones have more warmth than the aluminium cones, but still cut through no matter which valve heads my guitar player uses. Wouldn’t change my cabinets.

Awesome

Total powerhouse of an amp. Easy to use, get tones. The only slight downside is it’s weight, but then it does have twin 500 watt power stages, so it’s to be expected.
