Description
Tech 21 DP-3X dUg Pinnick Signature is a compact powerhouse that brings the legendary bass tones of dUg Pinnick to your fingertips. This multi-effects pedal is essentially a compressed version of his Ultra Bass 1000 Signature head, a blend of low-end power and punch with the top-end bite and grind.
No matter where you play, this pedal guarantees consistent tonal quality. This is a claim backed by dUg himself, who beta-tested the DP-3X on a European tour. Despite having a different backline rig at each venue, he was always able to dial in his signature tone.

Moreover, the DP-3X is designed for versatility both on and off the stage. It can even function as a practice solution in a hotel room, thanks to its headphone output.

Simply amazing
This pedal is basically a simplified version of the dUg Ultrabass 1000 amp by Tech 21. In a similar manner, it's architecture consists of two channels, a clean and compressed low end, and a distorted high end that can be mixed in by pressing a footswitch. Most of the geeky stuff is hidden away and only the most essential controls are visible/accessible, and the output is already a mixed signal, so we could call this unit an "idiot proof" bi-amped solution. ...and it does the job flawlessly. It's small, practical, and it's very difficult to get a bad tone out of it if you're into modern biamped distorted bass sounds. For that particular purpose, it's far better than most of the stuff (arguably all) out there currently. Oh, and you get a tuner for free too. :D

Fantastic pedal with no compromise
This pedal nails Dug Pinnick's sound but is capable of so much more not only being able to create great clean sounds it has having a distortion to die for. When you kick the distortion in you do not loose any bottom end so in effect it is like running two separate amps one clean the other distorted. The pedal also has built in tuner as well as a very good compressor, it also has a headphone output as well as a XLR output to go straight to the mixing desk.

Awesome pedal
This thing is great. Great clean tones, great blended distorted tones in a small package. My only criticism is that the tuner just feels a little slow compared to a TC Polytune for instance.

Most tuners out there are slow compared to the TC plytune. :)
