I bought this amp second hand 4 years ago, and it has been my rehearsing and gigging amp ever since. I love how it looks, and the reliability that comes with it being solid state. It's light enough to carry for small distances, even for a skinny guy like me. I like how the clean channel sounds, although I find it a bit dark for my tastes. It breaks up beautifully at high volumes, and I find that very useful for pairing with fuzzes, or pushing it into distortion with overdrive pedals. The dirty channel is fantastic, and the gain range is very wide, and well tuned. It can go from almost clean to high gain and anything in between. Perfect for most kinds of music. My only major gripe with the amp (and that's probably just my particular one) is how noisy the dirty channel gets. It gets tons of noise at high gain settings, regardless of volume. It might be a technical issue with my particular amp though, as most people are not complaining about noise. The digital reverb is very good, and I like how there's 3 different algorithms to choose from. I don't use it much, but it's nice to have.
Does what it needs to do, it hasn't suffered any wear and tear the past 3 years, it's easy to carry around by yourself or with someone else due to the handles at the sides.

Effects Pedals 14

I've had this pedal for 5 years, and it was my number one fuzz for most of that time. It might be a little unintuitive for a beginner, but there's serious flexibility in there, and it can cut through a mix very well. The parametric mids offer a lot of freedom to tweak and pair the pedal with any amp, and the noise gate is pretty useful. One of the footswitches is acting up however, which is a common complaint with EHX products, hence the 4 star review
A great, small, accurate tuner that will satisfy anyone's tuning needs. Its reference frequency (A = 440 Hz) can be changed, and multiple strings can be checked at once, so it keeps tuning fast, which is important when you're on stage.
