Not great but still somehow endearing
The drum sounds aren't great or versatile, and the bass synth is awful. Yet I still find it somehow endearing? The sequencer is easy to understand, the build is solid (except for the knobs), and it's fun to just jam out on some rhythm sequences. I don't use the sounds much anymore, but I do have some RW samples loaded on my MC101 just in case. You could also use the MIDI or gate out to use it as a sequencer or master clock for other gear.
Fun little drum machine
Pocket-sized drum machine and sequencer. It's small, but the sounds pack a punch and it's super easy to pick up and learn how it works quickly. You can master it in less than 30 minutes. Plus you can sync it with other pocket operators (or anything with a sync input) if you want via 3.5mm cable. No MIDI I/O, but at this price you can't expect that. Still, it's fun and surprisingly versatile. Not to be overlooked if you want a drum machine for less than $100.
Fantastic master controller on a budget
Lots of assignable pads/knobs/faders, great DAW integration, plays nice with Analog Lab 4 right out of the box. 49 keys sounds small but it feels plenty big enough for me. Love it.
Tons of functionality in a small box
Tons of classic Roland sounds, import your own samples if you want on the included SD card. 4 track MIDI sequencer. MIDI I/O, as well as stereo outputs. Onboard effects. Easy to understand sequencer, with pattern sequence as well. Scatter function is fun to play live. Battery powered for portability. Just an incredible little box.

@theveiledcreature, anything you'd change about this box, or is it pretty much perfect?
@pkennethk I think it would be nice if it could be plugged in instead of having to run on batteries. I also think it could have been just a little bit bigger while still being small enough to be portable. The small pads aren't ideal for trying to play or record beats live instead of sequencing them. But these are very small complaints.

If those are the only gripes, then they did a hell of a job on this one. cheers!
Fun sequencer
A fun little sequencer/controller. It's good to get out of my piano key comfort zone and use pads exclusively sometimes. Only downside is you have to use the Arturia Software Center to access some of the changeable parameters, such as swing percentage.
Great sequencer/controller
32 keys make it feel way bigger than it is (compared to other small keyboards that only have 25 keys). Sequencer is simple and easy to understand. CV output makes it easy to use with eurorack. Keys feel great even though they are mini. Very inexpensive. This is a studio essential.
Great portable controller
Fits in a backpack and has plenty of buttons to map to whatever software you're using. The keys feel a bit cheap but that's about the only trade-off. Tons of functionality, great portability, and a low price point make up for any shortcomings.
Workhorse
Not sure what kind of mic to use? Get this one. I've used it on everything. It's inexpensive and built to withstand the apocalypse. It can handle incredibly loud sounds but also relatively quiet ones without too much noise. Just a superb mic, especially for instruments, and it's an industry standard.
Decent vocal mic
It's got some of that tube warmth at a decent price. Build quality feels a bit cheaper than some of my other mics but I still use it as a dedicated vocal mic.
Solid cheap mic
I mostly use this for video calls or streaming. Well built, cheap, easy to connect to anything via USB but also has XLR and even a headphone monitor output, which makes it basically its own self-contained interface if you need something like that.
Solid value
Not the most elaborate or expensive recorder, but it's easy to take with you and the field recordings sound pretty good. The mics are much more sensitive than I was expecting and it's easy to transfer audio files to a computer and use them in any way you want.
Great saxophone
This thing sounds fantastic and has great action. I've never played another saxophone that feels as natural to play than this one. With the right mouthpiece this can be incredibly versatile and super easy to play.
Pretty standard electric guitar
I'm not much of a guitar player but this thing gets the job done when I need that sound. Inexpensive, and putting on higher quality strings goes a long way to making it sound pretty good.
Excellent
Lots of really unique options on this pedal, and it's relatively cheap. Sterio I/O is a huge plus. This thing is more versatile than most of my software delay plugins. Can't say that about any of my other pedals effects.
Solid overdrive
I use it on synths. It provides some good overdrive and it won't hurt your wallet much.
Classic distortion
It's rough around the edges but it's a classic distortion sound. If you're looking for more warmth than grit, I'd try a different pedal. But if it's just classic distortion you want, you can't go wrong with this thing.
Great pedal for the price
Sounds great, tons of options. Really good value for money. I use it on synths but it works great with guitar or other acoustic instruments.
