Great Tape mode
I bought both the Digitech Obscura and the Polara Reverb at the same time. I think they both show just how good Digitech are becoming (in comparison to their older "boss size" effects). So good that i am considering buying the Nautila Chorus/Flanger. They both come with rubber guards so your knobs wont be turned if you happen to hit your foot off it or you carry your pedalboard (like me) in a soft case. Im a big fan of tape delay and the tape on this leaves nothing to be desired. I am also running a Mooer Re-Echo in the tape setting and set up for longer delays while this is currently being used as more of a slapback for lead. I am seriously considering buying a second to leave set up for the longer delays as its far superior to the Mooer. very easy to get a great sound from and the trails switch just adds extra options, especially if you are using for those longer delays.

Sounds amazing - very distinct and special character
with the destruction and feedback options which emulate tape aging so well, it outshines even the Strymon Timeline by some way in sound beauty and distinctive character and extent of degraded echo.

Lots of really unique options on this pedal, and it's relatively cheap. Sterio I/O is a huge plus. This thing is more versatile than most of my software delay plugins. Can't say that about any of my other pedals effects.

Such a peculiar delay! The soundscape I can create with it is one of a kind!
Almost bought a different delay pedal when I found out what I could do with an Obscura. The 4 types of delay gives me enough sound options to mess with, and enough ways to intervene the effect in such a compact format. To get rid of this one is an undecifrable enigma!
Great delay
This is a very good delay, as it covers most of the delay palettes you would want, from a standard delay effect right through to very atmospheric sounds. And it has tap tempo, which sold it for me in the end.

Infinite possibilities in a minibox
I fell in love when I tested and heard this pedal. Activating and deactivating the delay tail by the switch is an excellent feature.
