"I now consider it a huge mistake to have used guitars different than my usual Ibanez Icemans for anything other than leads. It caused me to temporarily lose my signature sound, a sound I was/am extremely fond of and which defines me entirely." What stands behind him is clearly his JCM 800. He used it in Hellhammer, throughout Celtic Frost and I believe he's still using it in Triptykon, although I'm not sure.

Thomas Gabriel Fischer is noted for using the Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer overdrive pedal, as mentioned on Alchetron. While the information originates from Wikipedia, it's widely recognized among Hellhammer and Celtic Frost fans that his setup has consistently included the JCM 800 and the Ibanez TS9.

Ian Robertson of Chromaticism blog took a picture of Thomas Gabriel Fischer's pedalboard during Triptykon's 2016 Zürich gig.

The pedalboard contained a Ibanez TS-Mini, a Boss OC-3 Super Octave Pedal, an Ibanez WD7JR Weeping Demon Junior wah, and a Korg PitchBlack Chromatic tuner.

Since the TS-Mini was released in 2015 this pedal was obviosly not a part of his old Hellhammer and Celtic Frost era pedalboard.

Sinc the TS-Mini is essentially a miniaturized TS-9 it's quite possible that the original Tube Screamer used by him in old albums was a TS-9.

He can be seen with that guitar in this picture.

"The red guitar with white stripes and a Stratocaster body is my first St. Blues "Eliminator", which is still in my possession today (although I do intend to sell it).

I used it for almost all guitars recorded for "Into The Pandemonium" and, later, "Vanity/Nemesis", and also on the associated tours. I also used it, although in a far more limited manner, for "Monotheist" and "Eparistera Daimones" (see below).

Tommy Vetterli of Coroner and I were, for a time in the late 1980s, quite taken by the quality of the luxurious workmanship applied to the St. Blues guitars and by their sound. It was Tommy who, still as my guitar tech, pointed these guitars out to me. At one time, I owned three St. Blues "Eliminators", one in red and two in black. I sold the black ones in Texas in early 1993.

I now consider it a huge mistake to have used guitars different than my usual Ibanez Icemans for anything other than leads. It caused me to temporarily lose my signature sound, a sound I was/am extremely fond of and which defines me entirely. The red St. Blues is an excellent guitar for leads, however, particularly because of it's fantastic old Kahler tremolo system. I thus used it for a few harmonies, leads, and guitar turmoil on "Monotheist" (e.g. in "Ain Elohim") and "Epaistera Daimones" (e.g. in "The Prolonging")."

Since the Ibanez Weeping Demon Junior was introduced in 1999 it's obviously wasn't a part of his original Hellhammer and Celtic Frost era pedalboard. He used some other wah pedal in his old albums.
