A Classic Juno

Try this if you cant afford a original Roland Juno 60.

Still a good synth

Is not powerful or versatile like Serum or Spire, but it has that 'sweet' flavour that softsynths had lost. You can like or not. The on board effects are dated to me, but you can turn it off, FM is good but dont expect a DX7 clone. I love running in mono through my 737 preamp for bass, sounds beautiful! It can emulate DCO synths very well, almost like Diva. I dont know why, but the AN1x step sequencer appears to fit in mixes mutch better than vst sequencers. Comparing to a Nord Lead, the sound is dirty and raw, and for me, is a big plus. As i said, i like it, but is not a essential synth nowdays. Korg Minilog or even a Mininova sounds better in some cases.

This is free

One of the few free plugins outhere that have a sound!

T

Love this

Very powerfull plugin! Can turn a simple kick drum into a cannon!!

T

Usable

Good saturator, but to me, there are better plugins, like Softube's One Knob or Gem Sculptube.

T

Good, and is free.

For bass, a must have! When all your compressors won't work on low frequencies, this one will shine!

Love it!

Still have mine after 15 years. But some broken keys, broken membrane buttons, volume slider stoped work and fixed on maximum volume... This synth is GREAT for today pop, trap, hip hop, edm, etc. Like Michael Mcdonald said in one interview, is fabulous for stacking sounds. You can create a bass, pad, lead, percs, noises, and all will sound very musical and logic in your music, almost in a "workstation quality feel". Not a lot synths can do this. People still say is thin sounding. Not true, sounds fuller than any soft synth. Bass? ANY bass you can do, and fits easily in mixes even betther than operator. Is a beast for ambient music, throw a simple pedal delay on it and the magic happens. Its hart to program, but if you try you can do a lot with. Using reverb and a good chorus you can recreate all that Tears for Fears pads and brasses without much effort. Im a huge fan for using mic preamps for recording synth, (for extra juice) but this guy dont need it. Not even a DI box. Just direct to converter, line level. Well, i can spend all day telling you about this synth, but moderators here will kick me out ahahah. I wish i can buy another on in mint condition, and some day i will!

Everyone needs this equalizer

My default eq on vocals and mastering. A must have.

Underated Company

I use this as a saturation device on my kick drum. works every time! looove it! sounds great on vocals too.

T

Eats a lot of my cpu

Like every Fabfilter plug in, this is very big sounding. But is a cpu killer on multiples instances.

Version: FabFilter Pro-Q 1

could be 64bit

I like this eq, but its a shame is only 32bit.

T

Good, but

Unlike their fake plastic emulations plug ins, this is ok. Sounds a little metallic to me.

T

Gold

Underated eq. Very clean, produces nice sheen on higer frequencies. Using in multiples parallel processing, brings clear mixes in a non plastic way

T

Its good

Sometimes i put it on vocals, to push a little upfont. But that 'color' knob sounds harsh most of the time.

T

The best!

Unlike Serum, this can produce any type of sound AND still fitting nicely on tracks. It can be sweeeeet sounding like Spire too!

T

Real transformer

Funny, this one sounds almost like my shure se30 when pushed. good!

T

Very good overdrive

Love it on kick drum. adds body and a lo-fi kind of vibe.

T

good

Set the waveshaping and starts to tweak it. You can do wonders.

T

Must have

Sounds great on vocals, almost on par with any boutique la2a style comp. And to me, is the best opto for heavy snare compression duties.
