Not that good

Harsh and small sounding, compared with others la2a comps..

T

Loooove

Nice underated pack of plugins!! The tape machine is THE BEST on the market. I loved that Slate one, but this simply has the right tone!

T

Just use on vocals

Most sweet sounding tape effect i ever heard. Nice for kill some transients, highly versatile. Great on everything but love it on vocals.

Good for analog flavour

Its good for console type sound, if you put it in every track. You can place right after the tape simulator and resample. Results in a very analog sound! Down the trim and raise the output, and you get a nice sweet sound.

Love this!!

The digital section sounds wonderfull!!!

T

Average

Usable on kick or snare but compared with boutique saturation plug ins, it sounds thin and boring.

T

Wow!!

This is great!! Better than a tape deck. It has that chunch/crap sound. Love that tape quality feature!

T

Still have mine

It needs another power supply. I think it has some uses. Very 90's sounding, reverbs are good but i like the distortion.

T

Good but

i swear i'm trying to like this one, but never fits in my tracks... :(

T

Almost a MkI DX7

Well sounds like a Dx7, minus the 'DAC juice'.. To me, is a downside. At least is better than FM8.

T

Better to use your interface preamps

Worst preamp i ever used. The pots have lots of noise. The sound is strange, a cant rear the valve, and appears to sound a little fuller than a line level input ahahah. Sounds a lot less shit when you bypass the eq. Sorry Behringer.

T

Good for the money

I had this years ago. Lots of gain, sounds harsh and cold, but for the price is still better than average 99 dolar preamp interface.

T

Looooove these guys!!

Man i think this is the best 'one knobs' plugins outhere. The distortion is amazing in mix bus, pulls everything to the front before stars distorting. Sure, sounds modern, a litlle digital but never crap or bland. And its free!!

My go to drums

I never liked vst's for drums. They dont sound right for me, very dificult to fit in tracks. In th other hand filling the drum rack with samples is wonderful, the one shots never sounds artificial, very controllable, and dont kill my cpu.

T

Nice keybed

The keys are great. Im not a diehard fan for Xp/Jv sounds (except Jv880). Its a rompler, but with a VA feeling in the sounds.

T

Powerfull litlle synth

Had this in 2004. Most of the presets was shit, more oriented for church bands, i think. But the engine was a real mothf***, capable of great pads, leads. Not a trance machine, nowdays maybe more for pop music.

T

Usable keyboard

My mom had one in the 90's. Keys are the worst i've played. It had some few really good drums, pads and strings, usable even in professional productions. No stereo ouput, only a hella noisy headphone out.

T

Portable!

Action is good, but construction is really weak. I gave mine to someone when a D key stoped work.

T

Better than Ns10

Use a pair a few times with the RA-100 power amp, and i liked. The bass is present, never hyped.

T

Cheap construction and cheap price

Good for tracking and listening music. Not as good for mixing, due to plastic sounding bass.
