My absolute favorite digital audio workstation.
I've used logic for a bit in the past and thought it was ok, but then I switched to Ableton and never went back. I switched mainly because of the good reviews and many professionals use this software. I use this for both production and DJIing. I am going to update to Ableton Live 9 Suite very soon.

Makin' beats on the go
This app has the power of Maschine in your pocket. I love this thing, I use it on my iphone 5 all the time and sometimes I import the audio to a project file in Ableton.

Powerful Tool for music
The iPad is a very powerful and useful tool for music, I use a lot of midi devices on this thing and control my DAW with it.

Amazing effects unit
I got this when I first started DJing, It has all your basic effects needs such as a flanger, ring Modulator, delay, reverb. This works great on vocals and guitars too.

Perfect for laptop based DJ's
I love this thing, If you're a laptop DJ, I highly recommend it. The sound quality is great and the price is cheap.

Easy to use
Personally I'm not much of a Serato guy but when I was using it, it was really easy to learn. It's an amazing piece of software.

Great audio interface.
This audio interface is great for recording samples from things like video games and other things. It only works in Audacity though.

Awesome multiband compressor
It's a really cool compressor because you can do all sort of compression with it in a single plug in.

Neat little midi controller.
This little midi controller is a neat piece of hardware. I like the feel of the pitch wheel, modulation wheel, and knobs.
