This app allows you to create any midi device you've ever dreamed of, I really like it and it saves money.
I use this in every project I work on, You just can't ignore the sounds this thing makes.
This synthesizer is simply amazing, the oscillators sound very clean, the filters sound nice, and you are given so many nice presets to start with. I really like how they updated the skins in this new update and finally made Sylenth 64 bit supported.
I really like the way this synthesizer sounds, it gives a nice 1980's vibe. It's a shame it's no longer supported by Native instruments and because it's no longer supported I can't really use it in new projects because it is a 32 bit plug-in. Overall, however, I recommend this plug-in (if you can still find it, that is.)
This synthesizer is Good for Dubstep and IDM.

FL Studio gives you so many plug-ins that you don't even need to install VSTS. I also like the addition of Lifetime free updates.
I've used logic for a bit in the past and thought it was ok, but then I switched to Ableton and never went back. I switched mainly because of the good reviews and many professionals use this software. I use this for both production and DJIing. I am going to update to Ableton Live 9 Suite very soon.

I bought this mostly because Deadmau5 had it, but this is a very powerful MIDI controller. With this device you are able to make your own MIDI controllers using Lemur's software editor, Jazz Editor. This item is now discontinued and is hard to find, but if you're looking to use the features of this device, they have an iPad application called "Liine Lemur."
Latency is extremely low. I get 3.70 ms of roundtrip latency on a 44100 Sample rate with a buffer size of 32 samples or 4.42ms at a buffer size of 64 samples. The maximum lowest latency is 1.0 ms roundtrip latency with a sample rate of 192000 and a buffer size of 32 samples. These sizes could change depending on what computer you have. For this test, I am using a Mac Mini with intel 2.6GHZ processor with 8GB of RAM.
This controller is made for the video game Rockband 3, but also works as a MIDI controller. There is a standard MIDI DIN port on the side of the controller. It is powered by batteries so you don't need an extra power supply to power the device. Also, it is very cheap, it is about $20 on amazon, I highly recommend it.
This audio interface is great for recording samples from things like video games and other things. It only works in Audacity though.
I love this thing, If you're a laptop DJ, I highly recommend it. The sound quality is great and the price is cheap.

Personally I'm not much of a Serato guy but when I was using it, it was really easy to learn. It's an amazing piece of software.
Nice DJ software, easy to learn. The remix decks are the best feature of Traktor pro.
