iMaschine defies expectations as a mere gimmick, proving itself a fun and functional tool for creating music on the go. Users can quickly lay down beats and melodies on this iPhone-based app, which seamlessly integrates with the main Maschine software. Despite limitations in arrangement, its ability to mix parts and add effects impresses, particularly for an app running on a phone. At just $4.99, it’s an affordable and worthwhile addition for any Maschine user, offering a convenient way to capture musical ideas outside the studio.

My sketchpad.

I use it on the go, on my iPhone and iPad. It is a great app that helps with ideas. I think it need a little more work on it, but it still is one of my favorite music apps.

Makin' beats on the go

This app has the power of Maschine in your pocket. I love this thing, I use it on my iphone 5 all the time and sometimes I import the audio to a project file in Ableton.
