Fun to play at first but not great. The acoustic volume was just to low to really enjoy it. After removing the frets however it really started to sing. It now has a lot more volume and seems to perform better when plugged in an amp. It's great for jamming with friends or just experimenting with the acoustics.

This was my firts bass guitar and I still enjoy playing it. It has a lot of lowmid power which makes it good for slapping and funky grooves as well.

The drive sound isn't great. A bit thin or hollow. Still, I found a purpose for the BOD100 by using it as a treble boost for more punky basslines or while playing guitar on my bass-amp. This way it can give a nice boost to other distortion pedals aswell while I don't have to touch my amp to switch back to the deep low clean bass sound.

It's a nice and cheap pedal if your looking for more flexibility while playing different instruments or amps. The sound that comes through isn't always clean however. This seems to depend on what adapter you're using or how many pedals you've connected to the same connector.
