Traveler Guitar is a California-based manufacturer specializing in full-scale travel guitars and basses designed to be compact enough for the road while preserving playable scale lengths. Founded in 1992 by Leon Cox in Redlands, California, the company got its start when Cox built the first prototype in his garage using salvaged parts, including tuning machines from an old acoustic and wood from a discarded bar top. Corey Oliver and Carey Nordstrand joined the venture in the mid-1990s, and production later shifted from Fender's Corona facility to an overseas factory as the brand scaled up distribution.

The company is best known for its space-saving headless and in-body-tuning designs, which remove the headstock to shorten overall length without sacrificing playability. Core product lines include the Pro-Series (the original acoustic-electric hybrid with a built-in stethophone for silent practice), the Ultra-Light Series of lightweight acoustic, electric, classical, and bass models, the E-Series with onboard headphone amps, the Travelcaster Series of compact electrics with a 2-point tremolo, and the Vaibrant Series inspired by 1980s superstrat styling. The Speedster, introduced in 2001, became one of the brand's longest-running signature electrics.

Traveler Guitar's instruments are marketed to touring musicians, commuters, and players with limited practice space, and are distributed through major retailers including Guitar Center and Sweetwater as well as international dealers across roughly 30 countries.

Traveler Guitar has 33 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Solid Body Electric Guitars, Acoustic-Electric Guitars, and Classical & Nylon-String Guitars.
