Description
For the musician on the move, the Traveler Guitar Ultra-Light Acoustic Guitar is the ultimate companion, combining portability with uncompromised playability. With its proprietary In-Body Tuning System, this guitar ingeniously relocates the tuning machines into the body, eliminating the need for a headstock. This innovation allows the Ultra-Light Acoustic to be 31% shorter and 43% lighter than your average full-size acoustic, making it perfect for tight spaces like airline overhead bins.
Despite its compact size, this guitar doesn't skimp on sound or feel. It features a full 24.75-inch scale length, ensuring that you get the same comfort and playability as a standard guitar. The one-piece Eastern American hard maple neck-through-body design offers excellent sustain and durability, while the Traveler under-saddle piezo pickup ensures a rich, balanced acoustic tone when plugged in. Weighing in at under three pounds and measuring just 28 inches in length, this acoustic-electric marvel is easy to carry wherever your music takes you.
Whether you're a touring musician needing a reliable practice tool on the road or an adventurer looking to add a soundtrack to your travels, the Ultra-Light Acoustic Guitar is engineered to meet your needs without compromise.

Great for what it is
Don't be fooled by the name, I wouldn't consider this an acoustic guitar. I would say this is an acoustic voiced instrument, which it does well. It needs to be plugged into an acoustic amp to really bring out the "acoustic" features. At the price point, it's a great guitar, but might not make sense if you need to buy an amp as well. Traveler makes headphone amps for quiet playing, which is an option. If you're looking for a compact instrument for practice or travel this is a good fit. I think it is important to understand what it is, and what it isn't before buying. Lastly, string changes are very difficult, and tuning is awkward.
