Used in tandem with Cadogan’s Voodoo Lab Proctavia for the lead guitar sound on Blue, as reported by The Gear Page user jaredisburning in this October 7, 2010 forum post (erroneously stating it was used for Third Eye Blind, which predates the Creamy Dreamer) and as stated by Cadogan himself in this November 4, 2019 Twitter post.
The Gear Page, “I love my Creamy Dreamer” by jaredisburning (October 7, 2010)
I was actually introduced to this pedal in late 2004. My band was recording, and we were lucky enough to be produced by Kevin Cadogan (Third Eye Blind). He has been an avid CD user since the begining of the band. You can actually hear the pedal all over the first S/T 3EB record. Listening to him play his did more for my GAS than the whole Billy Corgan rumors ever did.
Here is some ear candy for you all so you can hear what I am talking about. This is the man himself teaching kids through youtube how to play "Walking with the wounded", He loops the chorus with a loop pedal, then clicks the Creamy Dreamer on around 3:22 for the solo.
