I have had my Lake Placid Blue Squier Cyclone since 2011 and i absolutely love it. only modifications are an 80's Duncan JB in the bridge and a self applied competition stripe.
My favorite short scale guitar. set up with 12's for Full step and drop C.
Currently stock apart from changing out the brown tort pickguard for a red one.
if fender made a signature guitar for me, this would be it. mine has a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge. ive used it on many 30th of Feb recordings and when its is set up nice it is an absolute JOY to play live
mine is red and is stock. actually it has some sort of bar on the trem that helps keep it in tune/keep the strings on the bridge?
i dont get to use it much, but when i have ive been very very happy with my sound. mine is a 1997 in redish sunburst.
i just purchased and have been playing around with a new LTD Viper Baritone. i hope to use it on future recordings and live performances
my main Gibson style guitar. super heavy weightwise (for me). tuned to D standard and drop C. has a set of unknown Duncans in it, probably a JB and a jazz in the neck.
i have the early 3 on a side headstock version with one pickup. nasty little guitar, ive used it with a fuzz pedal on recordings and live a few times when my other short scales weren't set up or gig worthy
Amplifiers 1
this thing is LOUD. i have the 2 speaker version and i rarely have to turn it up past 3. favorite solid state ive ever owned, apparently these amps are Fender badged Sunn(((o amps. sure sounds like it
Effects Pedals 4
when my pedal board was stolen last year and my old Keely modded Jap DS-1 finally failed i had been looking for a suitable replacement. my best friend had the perfect solution, a boss MD-2.
there's no way i could play a show without chorus, especially this pedal. mine is pretty old.
the perfect fuzz for me, absolutely replaces my old broken normal muff
the delay pedal on nearly every 30th release. mine was stolen but am currently using Kevin's old one
Other Gear 1
i have had my Thunderbird since 2009 and its served me very well, being on EVERY 30th album. Usually Kevin and I's main bass live when the Jazz Bass is out of commission or needs a set up
