I'll preface this by saying that I probably shouldn't have bought a signature in the first place, but damn this thing is nice. It's only like 5 lbs and the neck is just crazy smooth. It did come with a bit of fret buzz in certain places and its a bit pricey (and it's a sig), but if you can find a guitar with similar specs for the price just damn buy it.

I've been using this with stock everything and it's served me well. Kinda heavy. Make sure it's set up.

This absolutely needs a pickup swap, but the wide neck makes it super easy for doing advanced stuff like tapping, sweeping and thumping. People seem to sell them in great condition online for good prices so I'd recommend getting one used. Also maybe it's just me, but the machine heads seem a little weak also.

I'm not really even a gearhead but this amp gets the job done that's for sure. I've used it at eveything from small house shows to mid-sized venues. Sturdy, reliable, and loud.

I use Ableton for all of my production at the moment, and I have yet to feel limited in ability. I've tried Cubase, Pro Tools, and FL Studio as well, and Ableton came out as the most lightweight, intuitive environment I've worked in.

This is actually the first and only bass I've ever owned myself. If anything I produce has bass guitar on it, this is the one that was used.
