Hanoi Rocks is a Finnish rock band known for their influential blend of glam rock, punk, and hard rock, which helped define the glam metal scene of the early '80s. Formed in 1979 in Helsinki, the group initially consisted of Michael Monroe (vocals, saxophone, harmonica), Andy McCoy (lead guitar), Nasty Suicide (rhythm guitar), Sam Yaffa (bass), and Gyp Casino (drums).
