Ozric Tentacles is an English band renowned for their eclectic fusion of psychedelic rock, space rock, and electronic music. Originating in Somerset in 1983, the group was founded by Ed Wynne (guitar), Nick Van Gelder (drums), Joie Hinton (keyboards), Roly Wynne (bass), and Gavin Griffiths (guitar). Over the years, the lineup has evolved, yet Ed Wynne remains a constant driving force. The band is celebrated for their instrumental prowess and dynamic live performances, blending elements of jazz fusion, progressive rock, and neo-psychedelic styles to create a sound that bridges the cosmic rock of the '70s with the modern festival scene.
