The Fuzz tones are nice. Having an Octava and Drive unit attached are very convenient but I tend to gravitate more toward my GT-500 for those sounds than trying to dial in something with the Pignortion OFO.
Fine for the price but you can get more for your $$$.
This does what it says it does very nicely, but if you want to run it 100% wet to shift your tone in real-time I think you should pass. The pitch tracking is noticeably slow when trying to play a bass line, for instance.
I bought this used for $100 (including power supply and patchbay module) about a week ago and so far I've been pretty thrilled with it. I'm able to fit about 18 pedals onto it with some finagling. It feels really sturdy.
One thing I don't care for so much is the metal/grey coloring on the shelves. I might take those out and paint them black just to cut down on the visual noise.
Big fan. This is a fun machine to play around with. I like running it through crazy effects and tweaking the stutter button on the high hats.
The Volca Bass is a really simple, fun way to assemble bass loops to jam around. I like mine a lot.
I was looking for a pedal to get me close to the Siamese Dream Smashing Pumpkins tone. This does that. It's a boutique clone of the v4 OpAmp Big Muff used on that album...and it just sounds gorgeous. Clear. Clean. Hard. Pristine. It does one tone and it does it very very very well. Max out the sustain and set the tone to 2 o'clock. Instant Pumpkins.
I've since bought a Swollen Pickle and Fuzz Factory. The Swollen Pickle is great because it can go DEEP on the bass into some stoner rock tones. The Fuzz Factory is great for leads and making weird crazy amp sounds. But for a big rock fuzz that melts off faces, I come back to my trusted Pumpkin Pi every single time. I love this pedal so much I just ordered a bunch more from Matt at Stomp Under Foot. Get this.
If you want a jazzmaster but don't want to break the bank, buy this guitar. It plays great, sounds great, and feels great. I have a much more expensive warmoth Strat that I actually love playing....but the Jazzmaster is always RIGHT THERE saying "c'mon, brad....you know you want to play with me" and I succumb time and time again. Just a great guitar. Unreal that it's a squire. Very odd product decision from Fender.
The sounds are alright. Some nice reverbs. You'll find yourself wanting more IMO.
Have had this forever and used it for strings and keyboard tones. You can get them very cheaply now!
