A must-have fuzz pedal. Best thing out there
I was looking for a pedal to get me close to the Siamese Dream Smashing Pumpkins tone. This does that. It's a boutique clone of the v4 OpAmp Big Muff used on that album...and it just sounds gorgeous. Clear. Clean. Hard. Pristine. It does one tone and it does it very very very well. Max out the sustain and set the tone to 2 o'clock. Instant Pumpkins.
I've since bought a Swollen Pickle and Fuzz Factory. The Swollen Pickle is great because it can go DEEP on the bass into some stoner rock tones. The Fuzz Factory is great for leads and making weird crazy amp sounds. But for a big rock fuzz that melts off faces, I come back to my trusted Pumpkin Pi every single time. I love this pedal so much I just ordered a bunch more from Matt at Stomp Under Foot. Get this.
