Dunwich Amplification is a Connecticut-based builder of boutique tube amplifiers and effects pedals founded by Nicholas Williams, who began constructing gear as a DIY hobbyist in the mid-2000s before launching the brand commercially. The name nods to H.P. Lovecraft's fictional town, and much of the pedal artwork and model naming leans into that occult, doom-laden aesthetic. Williams later partnered with builder Magic Spiegel to handle production assembly of the pedal line.

The product catalog is oriented almost entirely toward heavy, low-tuned guitar and bass tones associated with doom, stoner, and sludge metal.
