Dunwich Amplification is a Connecticut-based builder of boutique tube amplifiers and effects pedals founded by Nicholas Williams, who began constructing gear as a DIY hobbyist in the mid-2000s before launching the brand commercially. The name nods to H.P. Lovecraft's fictional town, and much of the pedal artwork and model naming leans into that occult, doom-laden aesthetic. Williams later partnered with builder Magic Spiegel to handle production assembly of the pedal line.

The product catalog is oriented almost entirely toward heavy, low-tuned guitar and bass tones associated with doom, stoner, and sludge metal. Pedals include the Witchfinder fuzz, Rangeblister overdrive, Tyrant distortion, Quantum Mystic overdrive, FuzzThrone, Mammoth Overdrive, and the Nihilist, an HM-2-style distortion. On the amplifier side, Williams built custom tube heads ranging roughly from 18 to 300 watts, typically made to order to individual customer specifications.

The brand developed a cult following within the underground metal community. Documented users include Jon Davis of Conan, Todd Jones of Nails, Mike Scheidt of YOB, and Kurt Ballou of Converge and GodCity Studios, several of whom collaborated with Williams on signature or co-designed models.

Dunwich has 10 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Overdrive Effects Pedals, Fuzz Effects Pedals, and Distortion Effects Pedals. Their gear is featured by 6 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock and Metal. Notable users include Todd Jones, Jon Davis (Conan), and Kurt Ballou.
