The Crusher

It's perfect for doom and sludge, yes, but it actually cleans up very well on lower fuzz settings and with your guitar's volume knob. It has enough mid resonance to get chunky palm mutes on top of the snarling muff howl.

"On this latest album I use a custom made Fuzz Throne pedal by Dunwich Amplification. It’s a bit like a Fuzz Face clone but with an extra gain stage to drive the amp really hard. That plus my late 70's Matamp GT120 and I have the perfect match"
