Farm Pedals is a boutique effects brand operated by Geof Hancock and his family out of Hancock Family Farm in Casco, western Maine. The outfit runs on a seasonal rhythm: during the growing season, the Hancocks farm organic vegetables for a CSA and local farmers' markets, and in the winter Geof builds pedals by hand while his wife makes guitar straps. Profits from the pedals are reinvested into the farm, and the two operations are inseparable in the brand's identity — its slogan nods to being "full-time farmers with a noise problem."
