PSP Audioware (formally PSPaudioware.com s.c., short for Professional Sound Projects) is a Polish audio software company founded in 2000 by Antoni Ozynski and Mateusz Wozniak in Warsaw. One of the earliest developers of audio plug-ins for digital audio workstations, the company earned widespread recognition with the release of PSP VintageWarmer in 2002, a multi-band compressor and saturation processor with an analog-inspired sound that won Computer Music magazine's "Ultimate Buy" award. The company's motto is "It's the sound that counts!"
PSP Audioware's catalog spans dynamics processors, equalizers, reverbs, delays, modulation effects, metering tools, and immersive audio processors, all available in VST, VST3, AAX, and Audio Unit formats. Notable products include PSP InfiniStrip, a modular zero-latency channel strip with over 20 configurable processors; the PSP 2445 EMT, a reverb modeled on classic EMT 244 and 245 hardware with official EMT endorsement; the Lexicon PSP 42, an officially licensed software emulation of the Lexicon PCM42 delay; PSP BussPressor; PSP NobleQ; and PSP E27, a 3-band lunchbox-style EQ. The company also holds official endorsements from Lexicon, EMT, and AVEDIS for several of its emulation plug-ins.
PSP Audioware's plug-ins are used across music production, film scoring, mastering, and broadcast. Users include composer Hans Zimmer, producer Alan Parsons, mastering engineers Bob Ludwig and Bob Katz, artist Peter Gabriel, and electronic musician BT.
PSP Audioware has 67 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Compressor Plugins, EQ Plugins, and Delay Plugins. Their gear is featured by 52 artists, with the strongest followings in Electronic, Pop, and Rock. Notable users include Dusky, Noisia, and Shapov.
