Description

Unlock the true potential of your mix with the PSP Audioware PSP McQ, a versatile EQ plugin that effortlessly bridges the gap between vintage charm and modern precision. Inspired by the legendary MCI console equalizers, this plugin is packed with features that cater to both seasoned audio engineers and budding music producers.

With its intuitive interface, the PSP McQ offers low-pass and high-pass filters, two adaptable mid bands with gain-following Q factors, and a high-frequency band. The gain-following Q feature ensures that as you adjust the amplitude, the bandwidth becomes narrower, delivering highly musical and precise results. This makes it an ideal choice for crafting individual tracks that stand out in a mix.

One of the standout features of the PSP McQ is its SATuration mode, which injects a warm, tape-like harmonic saturation into your audio, while safeguarding against digital clipping. This is perfect for adding depth and character to your tracks, be it punchy kick drums, lush vocals, or intricate guitar lines.

Compatible with both Mac and Windows, the PSP McQ works seamlessly in AU, VST, AAX, and RTAS formats, and requires an iLok account for activation. Whether you're carving out space in a dense mix or subtly enhancing your sound, the PSP McQ is your go-to tool for achieving professional-grade audio quality.

serviceable hardware-style EQ

I think this thing is supposed to be a GML emulation. It looks right. Massenberg invented parametric. There's a real sound to a GML rack.... this isn't really the same to my ear, the pahse shift is different. ut it sounds good, and is great to sue when don't want a graphical representation fow hat you're doing to fuck with your ears. Soemtimes too miuch looking gives you 'correct' results but not creative results.... surgical EQ can go beyond repair work and that's where stuff like this shines. Try using fab fitler without focusing on the spectrum analyzer and letting that make decisions for you! Apart from gain metering when needed I just don't like seeing the music.
