Realistic was the house electronics brand of RadioShack (Tandy Corporation), used from the mid-1950s through 1994 on a wide catalog of consumer audio and communications gear. The name evolved from the original "Realist," a private-label line created in 1954 with input from Harman Kardon, after a trademark challenge from the maker of the Stereo Realist camera forced a change in 1955. Over the decades the brand expanded from home hi-fi into CB radios, shortwave receivers, walkie-talkies, microphones, mixers, and portable cassette recorders sold exclusively through RadioShack stores.

On the music side, Realistic is best remembered for the MG-1 Concertmate synthesizer — a Moog-built analog synth with a built-in polyphonic organ section sold at RadioShack in the early 1980s — along with the Concertmate line of entry-level keyboards and rhythm units, PZM boundary microphones manufactured under license from Crown, small PA mixers, dynamic vocal mics, and inexpensive headphones and monitor speakers that turned up in home studios. The TRC-series CB transceivers and the long-running AM Flavoradio pocket radio (1972–2000) were among the brand's best-known non-musical products.

The Realistic name was largely retired in 1994 as RadioShack shifted to stocking third-party brands, with a brief 2016 revival on a small range of Bluetooth accessories. Vintage Realistic audio equipment — particularly the MG-1, PZM mics, and certain receivers and mixers — retains a following on the used market among lo-fi, home-recording, and synth enthusiasts.
