Originally I bought this as an expression pedal because I seriously couldn't find a single expression pedal with a full heel to toe sweep until this one. Then one day, I gave up on the expression pedal idea, and was ready to sell, when I used it as a Volume Pedal and now, it never leaves my rig!
The Ditto has nothing on this pedal! 15 minutes of loop time, both a record volume and a loop volume (for layering) and a TEMPO CONTROL! Sure the tempo control doesn't let you update the loop, but with a few twists of the wrist you can create some pretty awesome time-skewing effects.
I read a lot of reviews saying it was noisy or had a crackle; I never experienced that and feel like with anything, some are duds out of the box.
Again, learn how to toneprint! I set mine to sound like a rotary speaker, and with the footprint on the board, you can lose!
I have a veritable shmorgus board of tones at my toe-tips, what about my fingers? In steps this baby.
I couldn't find a small Midi foot controller in North America for under $250 + Tax, so I found this baby from the Czech company Microdesignum! Customer service was great!
I hate that I had to give up my Holy Grail + but I need more options in a small box! My bassist had one that I borrowed, then immediately bought my own.
Not as good as my SP comp for sure, but this little guy fits nicely under my PT-1 and is great as a set and forget, fixing my second line's voluming issues.
Not the best Pitch modulator as you can't decide how much of the Octave up or down you get but the Detune is sick!
What more do you want from a tuner, its bright and fast... Seriously, that's it!
It definitely could be because I am no longer using a Tele, but the tone in this pedal is amazingly similar but not quite David Gilmour's tone from Animals, my favourite Floyd Album by far.
i set this baby to be a self oscillating beast with my custom toneprint that actually doesn't function as a delay as most people would like.
I use this chorus all the time and have the toneprint set to drastically change the chorus win a slight turn of a knob making it basically 4 different choruses.
I say that because I went through about five different ABY pedals before I just took the plunge and bought this. I haven't had to worry about tone suckage or even phase issues
I mostly use it for its awesome plate verb, and the shimmer effect but it has some awesome features and is worth checking out if you're like me and luckily find it at a low price point.
I needed another delay that was better than my DD-7, with presets and frills out the yang, I bought this and a Microdesignum Piccolo, and won't turn back!
i thought this would be a crazy good loop station, that's not necessarily the case, or at least I can't get it to operate as such, it's basically my favourite delay because of its presets and price point.
though not 100% perfect to my ears, this little guy has all the classic Muff tones that'd you'd want and more with the JHS muff!
this compressor not only established my tone again, it made me audible again.
