Uni-vibes are similar to a chorus effect, but is a unique modulation pedal. Uni-vibe pedals are typically associated with 1960s music, and particularly Jimi Hendrix. It has since become iconic and a staple on pedalboards if you want to play psychedelic rock.
Rotary effect pedals simulate a rotating Leslie speaker. This effect was made famous by Buddy Guy and remains popular, especially in blues and rock genres. The rotation of the cabinet produces a unique sound like a Doppler effect that modulates the volume and pitch of the sound.
