Blown away
I bought this to go with my gimmicky collection of mini amps and to look cute sitting atop my much bigger Vox Pathfinder 10 and Vox AC-10, but it's actually amazed me how capable it is! For a 2w 2x2" combo, it's got good volume, the 3 gain levels are fantastic and cover clean Beatles esk tones up to high drive cranked Queen esk tones. The in built effects are great addition and the drum machine is cool too. I can't really understand why this was ever discontinued? My only draw backs are the tone control is limited and it's lacking the classic Vox diamond pattern grill cloth, but I intend to change the latter!
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Mode 1, gain at 9 o'clock, volume at 2 o'clock with a hearty reverb, I could sit in that clean tone all day!

Why spend a grand when you can get this?!
Wow, absolutely bargain of a pedal and it absolutely nails that coveted Klon sound. Weather you wanna use it as a transparent boost or as a hard clipping drive, this pedal covers it! The added "voice" switch is cool too, it switches something in the circuit to work slightly different. It's hard to tell the difference at low gain, but when you turn it up past noon it sounds more like led clipping (maybe?).
All-round, an excellent pedal for the money!
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Volume set at 1 o'clock, treble set to taste and gain at 9 o'clock for a brilliant clean boast

Excellent mixer
Been using this to better record guitar for videos and demo tapes and it works really well. It's simple to set up and get started and you get great life out of the batteries. My only draw back is the lack of volume control over the aux in ports, being able to fine tune the levels there would be a great help. Also, not controls for panning which is a bit of a shame

Lot of bass from not a lot of sequencer
Really strong bass sequencer with a wide array of sounds and play styles. A lot of people complain it's limited to the C major scale, but thats not the case. If you use the effects you can pitch shift notes up by a half step! I've had great fun with this and I recommend getting multiple pocket operators for the best experience!

Chip tune heaven
Wanna make a song out of retro video game sounds. Well here you go. This is perfect. Unfortunately you are limited to the C major scale on notes but you get an interesting array of synth drone chords to go along with it and it auto tunes it's arpeggios to the chord playing which is awesome. I recommend getting other pocket operators to go with it.

Fantastic drum machine
Simple to understand and real good quality product. Can be a little fiddly with the small buttons, but once your used to them your flying. I throughly recommend getting others in the pocket operator series, they sync up perfectly and you can create some real interesting stuff!

Small and Mighty, but hard to keep clean
Bought this off Facebook Market place as a small amp to take to work to jam with a colleague. I wasn't expecting too much from the 3w 4" speaker but it's actually pretty good! The volume it produces is surprisingly loud, but damn near impossible to get a clean tone out of the amp anywhere past the 2nd notch. The overdrive channel makes for a vicious little creature, snarly and spikey but still a usable sound. Over all the amp sounds good, takes pedals surprisingly well and does the task I bought it for, I just wish I had a bit more control over the tone.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Volume low, tone at 1 o'clock with a Turbo Rat in the front end

Good clone, shame about the box
For the price, this pedal is fantastic. It's an excellent boss VB-2 clone and it can really hold it's own against the OG. It gives you excellent chorus tones all the way up to rapid vibrato, boardering on ring-mod territory when at max depth. The latching/unlatching mode switch is a great tool to have at hand aswell. My only draw back on this pedal is the enclosure. It's flimsy, squeaky and looks very cheap. But, it is only £20! A fraction of the price of a VB-2.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Unlatching mode, all the dials at 2 o'clock for some rising modulation on volume swelling guitar tone

Great drive, but not for me
Borrowed this from a friend for a couple weeks, so I haven't had super long to get to know it, but I'm a long time tubescreamer (clone) user so I wondered if it could convert me. Sadly, it did not. It's very much "the same but different" in very minor ways and by all means is an excellent alternative. However, I found that the colouration of the eq to be much stronger that my Kaffir lime and the gain seemed to be a touch more prickly. All in all, a fantastic overdrive. It's just not what I was looking for!
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Volume at unity, Tone at 2o'clock and Gain at 9o'clock gives a great light gain push to boost into a heavier distortion (such as a proco Rat)

Solid unit, but it's never big enough
Great pedalboard, comes with velcro and a carry case so you're all set to gig! Plenty of room underneath for a psu and cables. I feel like this pedalboard is a gateway pedalboard, if you enjoy pedals, your gonna want more pedals and you soon find that this one isn't quite big enough, and the next one won't be big enough either, nor the one after that... it's a slippery slope from there

If wah is your thing, this wahs pretty well
Good pedal for the price, nice smooth function and good tones. I found it difficult to turn on and off to begin with from my usual seating position, so had to adjust to use the wah. I would really call that a draw back of the pedal though, it's more designed to be on the floor before a pedal board than on a pedal board.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Left on in the heel down position with some medium gain after it gave me some beautiful, harmonic feedback. Stacking that with some ambient delay and reverb is just beautiful.

Great classic chorus
Fantastic chorus that I kind of bought on a whim. Got some really great usage out of it though! Despite only having 2 controls, you can get a surprising variety of tones out of this! My only drawback is an annoying pop I get when first turning the pedal on after the power has been off, it's never been enough of an issue for me to need to do anything about it so I have no idea if it's just an issue with mine or a more widespread issue
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Depth switch up, dial on half past 10 gives a great, rich, washy chorus sound; perfect for strumming chords into.

A perfect memory man... just smaller
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The memory man came out in 1976 and this pedal is the perfect homage to it. Smaller foot print and a scaled back set of controls but all of the fun of the OG!
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Any level of delay is perfect and works best with a very slight level of modulation.

The very best of both worlds
All analogue signal path, digital control. Absolutely brilliant delay! Tap tempo, note divisions, modulation, it's got it all. Unlike some delays with modulation, I find that the full range of the mod dial is completely usable.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Dotted 8th delay on the edge of self-oscillation for a perfect ambient pad

Good starter guitar but not flawless
Nice little guitar. Plays well and sounds good, surprisingly good set up on it out of the box. Needed the output jack replacing because the signal kept cutting out and definitely needs strap locks if your gonna use a strap. The position of the front strap button makes it very easy to come off, especially with the guitar neck heavy design.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Overdriven amp, guitar on full. Absolutely rock machines!

Just not a great amp
The amp that came with my first guitar. A thin, quacky, cardboard sounding little noise box. I moved away from it as soon as I had the money to do so!

Massively versatile reverb
Really great reverb, not a bad sound in it. Does the classic spring, plate and hall really well but it excells at the more ambient sounds, church, shimmer and lofi. The tone print ability is such a fantastic idea, but I found it hard to use and so haven't really delved into it too much.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Shimmer reverb after a volume swell pedal for the ultimate ambient wash.

Loud, British, Springy
I didn't expect much from a £50 second hand 2x8 solid state amp, but it's really surprised me. The dirt channel is not my thing, but the clean channel takes pedals fantastic, both with delays, modulation and reverb into the front and with it in the fx loop. The real spring reverb is also brilliant. I've not tried gigging the amp, but the volume just keeps going up the more you crank it, so I'm fairly confident it could definitely do a small gig! Only reason it's not 5 stars is just because I don't like the drive channel.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Clean channel, gain at 1 o'clock with a low gain plexi drive infront and the guitar rolled off. Then wack that volume back up for the solos!

Affordable, gritty Rat for all of your Rat needs
Great, affordable Rat clone that emulates the Rat and Turbo Rat sounds that have been used in countless songs spanning almost all genres. Stacks nicely with other pedals for your classic Rat tone combos. An all round good copy of the 70s icon.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Volume at 9 o'clock, Gain at 3 o'clock Filter at 11 o'clock - Perfect heavy distortion to run into a lighter overdrive like a klon or tubescreamer (or appropriate clone)

Excellent Vox sound - Surprisingly Loud
Got one of these as an absolute bargain off Facebook sales and it's just brilliant. It's got way more volume than my little flat can handle but still sounds great running at low volume. Takes pedals fantastically, I've only had to dial in a little more gain on a few but all my modulations, delays and reverbs just sound great. I'm not much a lover of the drive channel, there's a huge volume jump from clean to drive so it's not really practical for me to have to adjust the settings every time, but seeing as I have my gain on the floor for the most part, I just tend leave it on clean. The headphones line out works ok, a little more quacky in the sound, but still sounds pretty good.
