Worst amp ever had

So I bought this practice amp long ago when starting up playing and I can tell you - don't do this as the sound is truly horrible and completely useless! Totally not suitable for hard rock or metal. Maybe good enough for Wonderwall by Oasis if it floats your boat. Anyway... to give this one credit... it looks good and has a nice and easy to read tuner. You may use it as a tuner or fancy decoration but definitely not as an amp. To avoid!!!

No preset or setting is going to help it.

Small and Mighty, but hard to keep clean

Bought this off Facebook Market place as a small amp to take to work to jam with a colleague. I wasn't expecting too much from the 3w 4" speaker but it's actually pretty good! The volume it produces is surprisingly loud, but damn near impossible to get a clean tone out of the amp anywhere past the 2nd notch. The overdrive channel makes for a vicious little creature, snarly and spikey but still a usable sound. Over all the amp sounds good, takes pedals surprisingly well and does the task I bought it for, I just wish I had a bit more control over the tone.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Volume low, tone at 1 o'clock with a Turbo Rat in the front end

Stunning Mini Amp

This is by far the best mini amp I have tried. The tuner accuracy is very good and even overdrive isn't so bad as I expected it to be (but you have to turn the tone knob all the way down to get listenable drive). As for the tone knob, it's rather "less treble - more treble" than "bass - treble" but that's not a problem, at least for me. And the thing that surprised me the most is the fact that the amp makes absolutely no hum (when you use the battery). Overall, I can recomend it to you all.

Orange Micro Crush PiX 3 review

Well... That's a funny amp. Bought it for 15 € When the battery is getting empty the sound of the overdrive is just going crazy.

nowayness

It gets the job done

It's not so bad- when used with a guitar. I was mislead by the guy who sold it to me and it's definitely not suitable for bass. It does get the job done, but it can't handle bass tones. When used with a guitar however, it's got a nice clean sound. Overdrive works fine. Not very loud but I wasn't expecting that much volume from a mini amp lol

leonardus_verheggen

eh look further

I bought this amp cause I wanted to play outside with it and I can tell you its not super bad or something but eh theres simply so much better stuff you can get for this price so Id have to say dont get it it wouldn't be your worst buy but also not a good one is all I can say to finish it off

Nice practice amp

Good for playing around the house without lugging your main amp around.

simeon_minchev

well

This amp is like a toy . In my opinion it cannot be used for practice or for lives . The only use I see is bringing with you just to play a bit if you are traveling.

“After spending a good number of years playing Marshall and Mesa Boogie amplifiers, I always thought that there was a better tone out there. When The Flatliners began writing our new, and fifth, studio album I began tinkering around with many different kinds of amps to get a new sound; Something to rejuvenate the general vibe of the band. Orange beat out every other amp I could get my hands on, and left me with a smile on my face, knowing that I’d found our new sound.” Chris Cresswell.
