Just Wow, what a pedal!

Bought this cheap off facebook sales on a whim. Best. Purchase. Ever. Versatile is off the charts, delay and loop quality is incredible. I've lost so many hours in an spacy ethereal delay induced creative bubble and I don't think I ever want to leave. The sheer number of amateur and pros alike that use this pedal should speak for itself. If you see one, buy it.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Impossible to pick one favourite setting for this pedal. It does everything you want and more and it does it brilliantly!

Good pedal, not my thing

First pedal I ever bought, but looking back now, it wasn't best suited to me. A good amount of gain on tap and ample volume to really slam the front of your amp (waay more than I need). Tends to take over your tone though and doesn't allow for much variety in the sounds it can produce.

This is what I found as well. I've since got a Digitech Death Metal, which I prefer over the Grunge. They're based on the same PCB, but the Death Metal swaps the gain knob for a mid knob. Where the gain knob doesn't do a lot, the mid knob provides a lot more control. It's still not super versatile, but for extreme metal it does very well!

That being said, I absolutely loved using this on bass. I think it's a real sleeper distortion for bass.

Great Plexi Tones

Was bought this for Christmas many moons ago and it's been on my pedal board ever since. I've used it as a lighter overdrive into a distortion, a heavier distortion after an overdrive and as an always on amp in a box "pre amp" into an amp where the standard tone just sucked. This pedal can give you a great variety of sounds depending on your gain level and guitar volume so I'd thoroughly recommend it.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Gain at 8o'clock, volume at unity and tone just before noon. Turn your guitar down to about 6/7 and you've got perfect Hendrix "clean" tone

Great and simple reverb

Awesome spring reverb, simple single knob control makes it very easy to use. A lot of reverb from such a small footprint!

Absolutely excellent guitar

Looking after this guitar for a friend for a few months and I've absolutely loved it. Took a bit of time to get used to the short scale from my Jazzmaster, but the twangy single coils and snappyness of the hard tail have made it really fun to play. The tuning stability is also fantastic.

Best battery powered amp I've even seen

Absolutely fantastic battery powered amp, great tone at bedroom volume. Takes pedals pretty well on all 3 gain stages but any ground noise from your instrument can become unbearable. Cab simulated aux out is fantastic. My only down side to it is there's no inbuilt reverb, only delay, but other than that it's perfect

Perfect pedal extension

Bought this to use with my RC-1 Loop pedal and it's really helped me unlock the loops potential. I've also used it as an expression pedal on a few keyboards and it does that pretty well too.

Simple, Solid, Reliable.

Great loop pedal for the money and an excellent tool to have weather your gigging or just bedroom jamming. Keeps a good level of clarity between individual loops when you start to stack them up. I use mine with a FS-5U to make stopping and undoing that much easier but you don't necessarily need to. Despite being simple, I'd recommend reading the instructions at some point so you can take advantage of the 2 settings you can change to get this loop to be perfect for you.

Good solid Picks

Never really got on with flexy thin picks so tried out these boys and never looked back.

Good sound and good looks

Great compressor with probably the best power light I've seen, and as a bonus, when the pedal "compresses" the light glows red instead of white. The visually sleek design is a bonus and the back lit knobs are a great feature (with the ability to turn them off to save your battery). All round an excellent pedal.

Never want to put it down

Elegances in simplicity. The first guitar I ever bought and what a path it sent me down. I couldn't have asked for a better doorway into this world. The feel is fantastic, the tone is awesome, it'd well made, looks amazing, stays in tune. The best £150 I've ever spent.

Perfect for small budgets

An excellent imitation of one of the most iconic overdrive sounds. The small footprint makes it great for cramming on to your pedal but the lack of space for a battery means you've got to have some sort of power supply running to it. Gets a little noise with higher volumes and gain, but I've never been disappointed with mine.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Great for use as a light gain into a distortion or as a mid boost after a fuzz such as the big muff.

For filled a purpose but wouldn't recommend.

Bought this guitar purely out of need of an electric guitar with very little knowledge around what was good and what wasn't. It allowed me to progress a fair amout, but poor and cheap build quality became more of a hindrance.

A great 2nd amp

Bought this as an upgrade from my first practice amp and it sent me down the slippery slope of fx pedals. Ideal for bedroom practicing and exploring tone, this amp provides the perfect platform for learning about what amps, pedals and sounds are out there, if your willing to put a bit of time in to perfect them. Super easy to set up, adjust and use. The in build tuner is a godsend and the bluetooth connectivity is awesome. I'd also throughly recommend using the Fender Tone app for even more functionality.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Personal favourite set up is running two delays (one on ¼ note and one on dotted ⅛ notes) into an amp for chill shimmery goodness.

Not perfect but truly Awesome

I found one of these is a small guitar shop an hour away, absolutely fell in love, but had no way to get it home. So I ended up driving back there the next day to go get it. It wasn't perfect to begin, but with a few minor alteration to the bridge and some new pots it has become an absolute dream of a guitar. The neck feels fantastic, it's comfortable to play, it has that perfect jangly sound you expect from a jazzmaster and the rhythm and lead circuits open up a whole world of tones to play with.
