If wah is your thing, this wahs pretty well
Good pedal for the price, nice smooth function and good tones. I found it difficult to turn on and off to begin with from my usual seating position, so had to adjust to use the wah. I would really call that a draw back of the pedal though, it's more designed to be on the floor before a pedal board than on a pedal board.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Left on in the heel down position with some medium gain after it gave me some beautiful, harmonic feedback. Stacking that with some ambient delay and reverb is just beautiful.

Excellent pedal which was good enough for Jimi Hendrix!
Excellent pedal which was good enough for Jimi Hendrix (V846) so easily good enough for me. Delivers wonderful tone. Worked flawlessly for years with no issues.

Wah-Wah-Wah-Waaaah....
At first, I liked this wah, and used it a lot, because it had a great sound and worked well with amp sims like Guitar Rig 7, but after two months of use it just gave up and didn't work anymore, so now I'm trying to fix it somehow...

Great value
This pedal works great for electric guitar, but I have also used it with a nylon string guitar through a Fender Twin Reverb and it has a real unique tone. The mids also allow it to work as a tone pedal.

Amazing
Provides a great wah tone and is really nice when combined with some overdrive.

Why did I get a wah pedal?
I still don't know, but I got rid of my Crybaby and missed having a wah so I bought this. Looking back, the Crybaby pairs better with other pedals. Complaint: I've used three different ones and they all sound dirty, like they need to be cleaned internally, right before hitting full heel.

Reasonably good wah
I've had a few issues with the build quality on this pedal of late. I've had it about three years, so maybe it's nearing the end of its life anyway, but recently it moves far too freely and sometimes starts squealing when engaged. However, when it was working properly this was my go-to wah when playing Medicine Club's song, Build Me Up.

Cool wah, Sucks some tone
It's a cool wah, I like it better than the Crybaby pedals, you can tweak the range same way as in a Crybaby, and in my opinion it's a bit nicer sounding when you're on the lower position (less high frequencies) It's a wah, what can I say?

David used a Vox Wah pedal with reversed connection to get the "Sea Gull" sound used in "Echoes" and in live versions of "The Embryo". Replaced by a Crybaby in 1974.
David purchased this pedal in 1968, so it's likely to be the V845 model.

For electric pianos and organs, Matt Berry favours his Orange and Fender guitar amps. He is also an avid pedal collector; the Small Stone Phase on the upper tier of his pedalboard was a gift from Jean‑Michel Jarre, who used it on his seminal Oxygène album.
