Great Plexi Tones
Was bought this for Christmas many moons ago and it's been on my pedal board ever since. I've used it as a lighter overdrive into a distortion, a heavier distortion after an overdrive and as an always on amp in a box "pre amp" into an amp where the standard tone just sucked. This pedal can give you a great variety of sounds depending on your gain level and guitar volume so I'd thoroughly recommend it.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Gain at 8o'clock, volume at unity and tone just before noon. Turn your guitar down to about 6/7 and you've got perfect Hendrix "clean" tone

Nice plexi replica.
I bought this because the amp I was using at the time (Fender 85) didn't have a good "plexi" tone. I needed a plexi sound because I wanted to sound like Green Day without spending a helluva load of money. It sounds epic and I still use it today.
Great value for money!
I mostly play clean, but every now and then its great to have a bit of dirt, especially as I love bands like Black Stone Cherry, Volbeat etc and for £30! you can't go wrong.

MUST-BUY FOR EVERY STARTING GUITARIST
Tone City is a newer company, and they do manufacture from China, but I had heard so many great things about their pedals that I couldn't not order one (at only $65!!). This pedal has the one of the best tones I've heard in a while; great drive, and a huge range of tones. Give this new company a hand and buy this amazing pedal; they're worth your time.

very loud high gain drive
this is fun to play through. It is a real dial it up to 11 pedal if you want that heavy gain sound.
