My go-to synth, no question. This is a menu free basic synthesizer, with a solid sound. I have two :) Great bass sound (very Moog) but in my opinion best for leads. Very loud very clear works great alongside distorted guitars. Vermona make quality products, built to last (and survive many years of hard live use). Limited by how Pulse width modulation can only be controlled externally and no OSC Sync. No reason to not own one though!

Great organ for cheesy organ sounds, spooky sounds, warm 60's organ sounds. If you use this in a track you will definitely hear that the sound is from a transistor organ, not an emulation or vst. It oozes old warm sound. Whatever that means :) The built in spring reverb sounds really nice and the vibrato can be dialled in from zero to a lot, I usually have it open a small amount. You can record the sound with a mic aimed at the speakers, or with a 5 pin Din to jack cable. I guess it is a bit limited by its sound, super heavy so not perfect for on stage but still a compact organ. Looks great in the living room and doesn't take up a lot of space in the studio (and you can put other gear on top of it).

The sound of this drum machine is really good, it cuts really well through even a busy mix. Lots of shift functions and small buttons makes it not the easiest drum machine out there. But.. it sounds great. Especially the kick and snare. And you can upload your own samples into it. One thing that bugs me is that program change over CC is not instant, it will want to play out 2 or 4 bars of the program it is on before changing. Apparently more MFB boxes have this. Also, the manual is a bit confusing. But I love it, bought one (and sold it because I couldn't wrap my head around the functios) when they first came out. Have one again and it's a keeper.

Does what it should I guess, it fills my needs. I have it permanently routed through a Boss OS-2 for my live setup, sort of taking the place of a lead guitarist. Mine had some scratchy knob issues that were fixed by the manufacturer under warranty.

Just excellent, no complaints. Mine has had a rough life but keeps on keeping on like a champ. When it dies (will it die?) I will replace it with the re-202.

Great for saturated drums and synths and for live solo setups. Distorted kicks! 2 send and returns make it handy as a live mixer and as you can find them cheap so not too bad if they fill up with beer. But that hasn't killed mine yet! I have used it a lot. I think the whole BX range is great, I own various versions. The BX-8 and BX-16 both use an external adapter with a unique plug/socket and voltage. Not very easy to find so not perfect. The other versions BX-80 and BX-800 have internal power and normal plugs, but they only have one send/return.

Sounds great, loud, beefy. Nice and big unit with a good overview. My only complaint would be that there is no CC program change over midi.
