Badass Beat Machine
It brings the bass. My car speakers broke the first time I used it and I wasn't even in my car. This is definitely an improvement over the mk1. It's still missing a tiny mojo of the original because I have to say that to sound authentic, but it's like 99% there. I kinda hate the sequencer (mainly the pattern chaining sucks) and lately have just been sequencing it from an MPC. It's my wife's favorite drum machine.

Great sound, easy to use
Sounds great, loud, beefy. Nice and big unit with a good overview.
My only complaint would be that there is no CC program change over midi.
