The idea behind Padshop Pro is that sounds can be chopped into 'grains', the playback of which can be manipulated in various ways.
Padshop Pro utterly transforms samples, but it's not all about out-there sound design. The included string patches demonstrate that it can also be used to add subtle movement to otherwise static samples, while a grand piano sound is subjected to an echoing Eno-esque ambience. You can also import your own samples.

I hate the EDM riser, but nonetheless its a part of every song and this is how to do it. with the Waves Soundshifter.
A1TriggerGate is incredibly useful to breakUP repetative synth patterns with some elaborate gating techniques.
I like to load my own samples into this DMachine. then I use the controls to manipulate my sounds.
i accidentally submitted the lfo tool as part of the submissions page. my bad.
this series of plugins is one i can't live without. i use it on everything
sausage fattener on basslines
sausage fattener on synths
sausage fattener on ambient noises
it all works
extreme control over filtering sounds. WOW2 brings an incredible amount of flexibility and tools for changing any sound
sometimes I switch up my DAW just to get inspiration. Between Logic X and Ableton...
Ableton has evolved so much in the past 7 years its been incredible to watch the transformation. I still haven't mastered this software and I am learning new ways to trick out sounds.
for the unique ways to create sounds this synth packs a punch!
I write almost all my new tracks with this bad boy.
This synth really took me by surprise. some extremely creative presets and a whole host of flexible parameters to manipulate sound.
Another versatile synth and very popular among EDM producers. Also a must have.
this is a very trendy synth. everyone has this in their arsernal. I find that changing the sounds/presets and layering them on top of each other gives rise to some amazing and unique tones.
Gladiator presets are one of the most inspiring sets of sounds I have ever heard. I don't think there is one preset that sucks.
