Still clean as day one.
A great sounding clean, single tube combo that doesn't actually sound like a tube. There is no gain control on the lean channel and next to nothing on the OD channel. But she is super clean and a rhythm guitarist could not walk past. the OD is cool but does not allow enough control. The reverb does make a slight muffle, but who could complain when it is quite an old combo. Overall a great amp for effects as the clean is just a blank page for creativity.

I've never seen one of these or even heard of it. 80s? does it use 6L6es?

Control is everything...
I personally used this as a 'pre amp', or an alternative to the clean gain control on my amp. I was searching for something cheap that would give my clean channel a bit of a 'bite' to it. not only does the badass do that. It offers complete control in tone, and with the 100Hz control, you are able to get the treble and tone you desire, whilst keeping up with the bass and lower frequencies, output from my clean channel. Overall a great buy with a great first impression and controllability without distortion.

Great OD with minor issues.
A very nice crunchy tone. Although it is difficult to control the 'tone' knob as it is very muffled until about 80 percent, where it kicks in instantly to too much treble. This was one downside that is an easy fix as long as it does not get touched. The 'smooth' three way toggle to me, seemed useless and could have been executed better, by making each level a big difference from the other. But in the end I got an awesome sounding overdrive in which no one can complain about. I would recommend a try before buy, due too tone control. But personally I am happy.

Fun to mess about, not good at getting that tone you want.
Its cheap but fun. I just use it to mess about with and make a little noise in my room. The high end doesnt cut through very well and the signal is a bit unclear, but i managed to clean it up a bit with the MXR 6-channel EQ.
