Great, affordable clean booster!

It might not have as much mojo as other boosters like Xotic EP Booster, but it is still a great pedal to have in your set up! I use it primarily as a front-end boost to give my amps more saturation, sustain, brightness and juice. It's perfect for all leads, solos and parts where you want to shine in the mix! Oh, and just to mention - I got mine for 29,99 USD brand new :)

The most digital delay ever!

True classic, probably the most digital delay of all Boss delays. Very clear, bright, and really stands out during solos, it reminisces me a typical 80s lead tone!

The best wah so far

Dunlop has a pretty large palette of wahs, but there is something really special about this JC95. It's not harsh or shrill like others, it's less trebly and rather low-to-mid-focused pedal which gives you that authentic and true wah tone we all look for. I was positively suprised how it handles really hi-gain and at the same time how pleasant it sounds on cleans.

Perfect wah, without any doubt!

Simply the best OD pedal ever made!

Either you use it to push already cranked amp or as a standalone drive pedal, there is no match for an original Maxon OD-9. Nails it every single time!

Boss TU-2 any day!

It doesn't have true bypass, fancy led lights or screen or poly-tuning, but it's so damn accurate, reliable and durable that I will never get rid of it. Boss TU-2 is a life-time tuner.

My number one boost pedal

One knob, simple design, built like a tank and nothing fancy-schmancy here. It's probably the most transparent boost pedal in the market - there is completely no coloration of tone, retains 100% of amp tone. I use it at a dead end of my chain to get only slight volume bump for some lead parts. It can be powered up to 18v to get even more headroom.

Most versatile and wonderful sounding chorus!

First thing first: If you are an analog-snob then you have to change your mindset before you put your hands on Corona chorus. Just because it's not BBD, it doesn't mean it can't do some great, lush, warm and vintage chorus tones. It does, and does it pretty damn good. The two built-in choruses are decent, but this pedal begins to shine in toneprint world. We have great simulations of Boss CE-2 and DC-2, great Andy's PGS double-chorus, and distortion-oriented Petrucci's and Scott Ian's choruses. If that is not enough, you can dive into the rest of toneprints or mess with editor to create your own voicings. Controls are very sensitive and responsive, stereo operation is a great feature, too. I also like the possibility of switching between true-bypass and buffer - comes in handy with some amps. All in all, great pedal!

One of the greates amps ever made!

You know it is the right amp when three things happen at one time. First, time flies by and you just simply can't stop playing. Second, no pedal is required to make up tone because everything sounds perfect with a guitar and a cable. Third, you feel the floor literally shaking. This amp can do every genre of music - jazz, blues, hard rock, metal - you name it, Rockerverb will get you there. Loud as milion of screaming Spartan warriors, build like a tank, sounds like a heaven!

Two phasers in one box!

I had stock Phase 90 which in general is great pedal, but this annoying volume boost (or even a distortion) can be pain in the ass, so R28 mod is necessary to get things right. This EVH Phase solves all problems since you can immediately switch from block logo mode to script mode without opening and modding circuit. As we speak about tone and overall quality - 5 stars, this pedal literally sings both on clean and heavy distortion.

The spirit of heavy metal

This is probably the best sounding and the most comfortable mid-priced guitar I've ever played. Super-fast neck, great finish and overall quality, very decent tremolo floating brigde and awesome look make Kelly KE my personal number one in my humble guitar collection. I've swapped the stock pickups for EMGs 81/85 - not because stock ones suck, quite the contrary they're good, but I wanted something with more output and punch.

Can't go wrong with it

100% analog circuit, lush and warm tone, huge headroom (runs on 18v) and very tweakable. Probably the best chorus ever which allows user to dial into wide range of sounds - from classic cheesy 80s leads to leslie-a-like and everything in between. It is worth to experiment with its placement. Also you can use as a kind of post-gain EQ. I dig the blinking led light, it allows you to see how fast is the modulation.

Sh*t-ton of delays and even more

If you take care of you pedalboard space then go for TC Flashback Mini. Does not really matter if you want to have a "set'n'forget" delay or explore the delay-rabbit-hole, Flashback Mini will do great. Wonderful pedal with tons of delays and modulation. Yes, modulation. Just plug it into PC and you can get a nice chorus/flanger/vibrato via TonePrint Editor. General quality is superior as always with TC Electronic.

Probably best 2x12 cab

I was using PPC112 for years, but recently I've upgraded to this PPC212 (closed back, Made in England, 2x V30s) and I have to tell you that it is a huge step forward. This cabinet sounds so damn perfect in conjunction with my TH30 - loud, full, rich and focused tone which cuts through the band like butter.

F

For rock style 2x12 is much better than 1x12? English here is not the best.

100% pure TS tone in a small box

This small green box will give you everything you could ever expect from a regular TS-9 / TS-808. Either you are boosting your tubes to get more grit or use it as a standalone drive you will find it fantastic! It's true bypass, takes very little precious space on pedalboard and what is even more important TS mini costs a half of a price of a regular tubescreamers.

Bang for the buck!

I got this pedal for 8$ and its sound awesome for this price. Wide range of tones and basic EQ on board, two outputs (amp and mixer), built like a small tank. I would not take it on gig or studio since its just the entry level distortion pedal but I believe Hot Head is great think for home practice. You can't go wrong with this orange hottie!

Great compact power supply

Affordable price, 5 fully isolated outputs, multiple voltages (9,12 and 18v), small footprint - what's not to like? It's great for simple pedalboard and has enough power to do its job. ISO 5 is very silent, too. Build like a tank, definately worth taking on tours!

cwirus88

Great phaser loaded with tons of tones!

I know that this green box is all-digital, so sure - there might be fatter and warmer sounding analog phasers but I believe it is high time to let digitals do their things. However if you want kind of entry-level phaser, cheap and reliable PH-3 is way to go - 7 modes (4,8,10,12 stages plus three experimental, synth-a-like), full tone control (rate, depth and resonance) and really decent sound quality. I find it to work best in front of a dirty amp (not in fx loop). Also, volume drop was reported on countless threads, but my PH-3 (from 2014) is volume-drop free, works perfect!

Nice to have one, just for backup dirt.

Some people say that it is good to have at least one distortion pedal just in case your tube amp breaks down and suddenly all you have is shitty SS amp with even more shitty dirty channel. So, following that rule I got DS-2. Apart from obviousness (built like tank, small footprint) it is quite decent pedal with range of tones - from classic blues and gritty rock to heavily distorted 80s metal. I really dig the two modes, it gives you a lot of flexibility. DS-2 can push tubes to more gain, but there are pedals which do it better so I mainly recommend to use it as a standalone drive.

Best Boss dirt pedal!

I've always found old, two-knob Boss stuff as a better sounding units. This also refers to OD-1 which I've aquired few days ago. As most pedals like these, OD-1 works best in front of an already cranked amp to tighten your tone up. It's quite gritty, has tons of mids and sounds very warm and natural (NOT transparent). In my opinion best dirt pedal Boss ever made. However we have one problem here - price. Better look in a pawn shops, unless you are ready to spend some serious dollar.

Great choice for this price!

For this price you really cannot complain. Sounds fine, looks nice, feels comfortable - what's not to like? Give it to a good luthier to take care of it (get rid of production flaws) and all of the sudden you get a decent instrument which will give you some pleasant moments. Of course it is far away from true Fender, but that is not the issue. Fender is Fender, Squier is Squier, and this is GOOD one!

can't complain or shouldn't complain? because I am a pro complainer when it comes to guitars at any price point
