Very simple in structure yet it can generate a myriad of different sounds. No matter how you program it, it sounds amazing. The classic Roland chorus on the 106 is the heart of the synth and does so much for it’s sound.

What hasn’t already been said about these cans? They sound amazing and even better when factoring in their price.

This is an awesome synth and works perfectly for losing yourself for hours tweaking all of the knobs and switches. It however has a somewhat limited range of sounds and that was ultimately the reason I sold it.

This was my first hardware device for music production and I completely regret selling it. I’ll probably end up getting another one in the future as it’s a perfect package when it comes to an MPC. Very versatile, very fun, can generate immmediate musical results.

Elektron makes some great hardware, I’m happy with the Digitakt but I still miss my MPC-1000..

This is an excellent choice for an effects pedal for use with synthesizers. The lack of physical control knobs is creatively addressed through the H9 app for iOS that gives you control over every parameter. Using the iTunes Store you can buy individual algorithms effects and after purchasing 10 algorithms your H9 turns into an H9 Max granting you all of the available effects for the unit and any that come out in the future. Great piece of kit.
