Amazing bass, What I needed and more!

Absolutely love this bass. Bought it because it was relatively cheap and I wanted a 5 string bass for travelling. Tone is amazing, and it feels great to play on. Put on some flat-wound chromes to use for jazz gigs, and they work great! The two pickup knobs and and tone control gives for some great customisation on tone, although a bit difficult to control volume. The bass is heavy, but after getting used to the weight, feels safe and secure, just make sure to get a good strap!

Anyone wanting to get into playing 5 strings, I would definitely recommend this bass, if not for being a starter, then for being the regular.

Clear tone, easy to use, but not too practical...

I originally bought this pedal as I wanted to be able to change octave midway through songs, or add an almost 'synth-bass' feel that I wouldn't be able to get my BOSS Super Octave. It's super easy to use, with the knobs clearly labelled. The only reason it only gets 3 stars instead of 4, or 5, is that there is no battery capability, which is fine for pedalboards, but the cumbersome size should offer battery capability.

Good variety of tones

Lovely clean tone, although the 2 band EQ is a bit restricting. The Reverb sounds natural, and the gain control allows for some light distortion. Great for starting out with some gigging

Been very helpful, haven't used the full range of tones available yet, but simple and easy to use design

Quality looking, quality sounding!

A brilliant Bass that looks as good as it sounds! Great value for money, and is very versatile with its pickup blend and EQ switch. The Bartolini MK1 pickups The smooth finish and interesting input-jack placement makes it brilliant for filming as well. Should be in every Bassist's line-up, used by greats such as Mike D'Antonio, Fieldy and Joe Taylor ;)

Brilliant Drum-Competitive Amp

This amp is perfect for Bassists starting up. It not only more than holds its own against drum kits, but has great portability due to its low weight and size. It has a great tone with a lot of variation due to its 4-band EQ. Need to watch out for the very low frequencies in certain settings, as it can become quite boomy. I have used this both in a band setting and as a soloist as well. Works well with all sorts of pedals and it can be even be carried over short distances. Doesn't break the bank or your back!

Very Useful!

This pedal is a must-have for bassists, especially once you start slapping. It gives you the perfect balance between simple and complex, with only four controls to get confused with. The enhance function is great for getting those higher frequencies you sometimes can't with certain audio set-ups.

Solid pedal, but a bit niche...

Solid pedal with useful drive function as well as double octave. Lower octaves tend to rumble quite a bit and it would be nice to mute the original octave and just hear the lower one. Only really useful for a few particular songs...

Perfect for bass!

Good pick, the engraving making it easy to hold, even when sweating. Perfect for getting that clarity when needed.

Great Tone, not enough distortion

A great pedal that gives some great tone, and the level/blend function is great for getting it just right. However, the Drive feels a bit weak, even when turned up to full. To get enough distortion, had to pair with another pedal

Good, Compact pedalboard

Very nice, neat layout that easy to set up. Not too convenient if you want to use pedals other than Boss, or bigger ones. Brilliant for beginners.
