Markbass Mini CMD 121P is lauded for its compact size, impressive power, and versatile sound options, making it a top choice for bassists seeking portability without sacrificing performance. Its lightweight design and powerful 12-inch neodymium speaker deliver a full-bodied tone, while the VLE and VPF controls allow for a wide range of sound customization. However, the back panel's positioning can be inconvenient on dim stages. Overall, it's a highly recommended combo amp for both gigs and studio use.

Brilliant Drum-Competitive Amp

This amp is perfect for Bassists starting up. It not only more than holds its own against drum kits, but has great portability due to its low weight and size. It has a great tone with a lot of variation due to its 4-band EQ. Need to watch out for the very low frequencies in certain settings, as it can become quite boomy. I have used this both in a band setting and as a soloist as well. Works well with all sorts of pedals and it can be even be carried over short distances. Doesn't break the bank or your back!
