Exceptional and inexpensive

You can pick these up for <£100 and it's an absolute classic for a reason. So much gain on tap if you need it or a solid boost to a driven amp, works both ways, and being Boss it's built like a tank.

Not what I was looking for, but not a bad pedal

I bought this looking for some synthy sounds that would fit in playing some muse songs or stuff like that. I didn't really find that, and I found that while there's a LOT of potential tones, with no way to store a preset it was frustrating to use on the floor. The presets mostly sounded pretty good, some were a bit same-y, but with so many it was difficult to learn where I would find what I was looking for. I think the SY-200 or 1000 would be more suited to what I wanted, but for there's a significant step up in price.

It's a fun pedal to play with, it's a fun pedal to tweak while you hold notes, and it can genuinely make some interesting and musical sounds, but I sold mine because of the frustration of not being able to store any of the wonderful sounds it was making, and having to find them again is annoying.

First 7 string and I love it

For a cheap multiscale guitar, this really punches well above it's weight. It has locking tuners and EMG 707 pickups, it really does what it says on the tin. Super comfortable, neck feels great, solidly built, it looks great. I think you'd struggle to find a guitar this good with a major brand name.

Hands down the best capo on the market

This is the best capo I've ever used. Take on and off one handed, a flat side and a radius side, even pressure across the strings, super sturdy, and even looks nice. I'll never buy a different one.

Good range of effects, but high noise floor

I gave this a go for adding some different effects to guitars/vocals for live performance and found that while the effects were good and saving presets was easy, the noise floor was incredibly high and that really made it unfit for the purpose I bought it. I quickly sold it on, and was happier with the cash than the unit

Best mid-range guitar I've played

It's built really well, the pickups are great, the matte finish feels hard-wearing and the silver makes it stand out. It holds tuning well, has locking tuners, and the addition of the kill button is a fun nod to Matt Bellamy's on-board effects. I got mine ex-demo for <£300 which was an absolute steal for the amount of guitar you get.

Best seller for a reason

This amp is incredible. It has endless sounds in it, it's easy and intuitive to use, it's cheap, it's small, it's light, it's loud, there's very little not to like. If I were to get it again, I'd opt for the 100w version that has a different speaker, but that's not to say the speaker in the 50 isn't good, just different. Since I've got a Orange Rocker 15 Terror, I've mainly used the Katana with a Dirty Shirley overdrive pedal or Big Muff to blend in with the Orange, and it excels at filling out the sound.

Cool sound but not durable

I got one of these to mess around with, found some cool sounds in it, excellent for making you sound like a robot, but mine died within a year and I didn't miss it enough to get a new one.

Better than expected

For the price, this is one of the best pedals I've ever bought. It pushes the amp like a TS but for 1/5th of the price. I wouldn't want to take it on stage, I'd worry about breaking the plastic housing, but for messing around at home that's not an issue.

Perfect stripped-down guitar

I had the please of spending some time playing this at The Guitar Show in Birmingham, UK in early 2024. It was a great guitar, the custom Dirty Rascal humbucker leant itself well to hard rock, alt rock, and punk sounds, and the Gotoh hardware all felt top quality. It has a durable matte pink/blue/green/black finish, oiled neck, and the "Mojo" switch that's installed on each guitar added a nice variety of tones despite being a single pickup instrument.

I very nearly bought one at the show, but spoke to the Manson team (who were all lovely) and opted for an MA Evo instead, which I ordered when I was home.

Incredible clarity

This was a collaboration between Manson and Bare Knuckle that was the primary pickup used for the recording of the Muse album Black Holes and Revelations. It defines the sound of the album, while still managing to be suitable for other sounds and genres. It has a bright top end, plenty of cut due to a solid mid voicing, and gives a fairly tight low end that lets you play modern styles of metal.

Comfortable modern tele

Super comfortable to play, all the hardware on it feels solid and the guitar as a whole feels well built. The pickups are slightly more modern voiced, so it maybe won't give you the classic telecaster sound, but it does sound great.

It's a tuner

Very accurate, easy to see, easy to use, well built. Can't fault it. There's a reason it's one of the most popular tuners on the market.

harry_jordan

The best pitch shifter

Does exactly what you want and does it well. Solidly built, plenty of options for pitch, and the shallow detune is a great vibrato style effect in it's own right.

Great guitar for the price

I got one of these for around £200 second hand. It plays great, the stock pickups sound decent and the stock tuners hold tuning well. I learned to play on this, and I wouldn't have chosen anything else.

Great lunchbox head

Small enough to carry around, loud enough to gig, and the headroom/bedroom switch makes it viable for home use as well. The gain goes from crystal clean to hard rock, and with a TS style drive you can even get a halfway decent metal tone

The Smashing Pumpkins sound in a box

I watched one demo of this with Billy Corgan playing it, bought it based on that video, and I haven't wanted a single other fuzz pedal since I first switched it on

GREAT SETUP!!

harry_jordan

Incredible

It plays amazingly, the build quality is second to none, the sustainer and fuzz factory are genuine improvements that can be used muscially instead of gimmicks, and the PF-1 pickup is exactly what I want out of a guitar
