The Roland TR-505 Samples offer a time-traveling excursion straight into the heart of '80s electronic music. A sibling to the iconic TR-707 and TR-727, this collection of samples delivers a punchy and timeless tone that can effortlessly anchor any mix. From the synth-pop masterpieces of Vince Clark to the experimental beats of Aphex Twin, the TR-505's sound palette has become a staple among electronic music producers.

Our TR-505 samples go beyond the original machine's classic offerings, unlocking a treasure trove of new possibilities. Through innovative modifications, including a unique circuit-bending knob, the samples offer both faithful recreations and wild, untamed variations. This modified 505 has been meticulously recorded through high-end gear, ensuring each sample retains the authentic warmth and depth for which the era is renowned.

Not content with just preserving history, we pushed the boundaries by sampling the 505 through the legendary SP-1200 sampler. This step imbued the sounds with a gritty 12-bit character, adding a vintage vibe that transcends ordinary processing techniques. With 38 additional pitches per voice, the variety of sounds is simply staggering, from crisply clean to delightfully distorted.

For ease of use, these samples are compiled into individual hits and pre-assembled kits. Whether you’re after the clean, classic sounds or the re-sampled and modded mayhem, the TR-505 Samples are a versatile addition to any producer's toolkit.
